Dubai Municipality closes Jumeirah beach park

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has temporarily closed Jumeirah Beach Park with effect from last Sunday.

Also, ladies day at Jumeirah Beach Park is no longer an option any more due to the ongoing development projects in the park.

Dubai Municipality temporally cancelled the ladies day and all other activities in the beach park to ensure the smooth running of the Dubai Canal project and other developmental work. However, the park will still receive visitors till the end of December.

The municipality confirmed that both the beach and the park will reopen by the end of 2016 with a new look and new facilities in line with the latest developments in Dubai.
