Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai Law No 14 of 2010 amending some provisions of the Dubai Government Human Resources Management Law No 27 of 2006.

The amendments aim at ensuring greater extents of flexibility in organisational and decision-making aspects that are related to human resources, which complements the requirements of the government departments' activities.

The law is part of Dubai Government's efforts to modernise and improve the work environment in the government sector to ensure the highest levels of excellence, competence and efficiency in government employees.

It also provides a stable, motivating working environment that is based on loyalty, creativity and commitment.

The modifications also support Emiratisation and replacement plans in governmental departments, as well as increasing these departments' capacity in attracting exceptional and qualified human resources who will contribute to implementing and achieving the development plans of Dubai.
