Dubai: Dh52.3 million worth of 34,762 transactions has been collected via the ePay gateway of Dubai Smart Government the Smart Dubai Gate on the first day of the ‘Week without Service Centres’ initiative.

The Dubai Department of Finance conducted the first daily draw that saw 390 winners of customers dealing with 40 government, semi-government and private entities participating in the initiative.

The winners got the full recovery of the cash amounts they paid for the fees of their transactions. Customers can view the winning transaction numbers by visiting the page “week without servers” on the DOF website:

A Dh200, 000 has been refunded by the winning customers on the first day of the initiative. The ministry has allocated Dh1 million for cash recovery of fees paid for transactions conducted via smart channels during the five working days.

The initiative started on Sunday with the participation of 100 service centres affiliated to 40 bodies. During the week, service centres are dedicated to raising the awareness about the importance of smart transformation, which includes more than 1,100 smart services.
