Dewa honours staff during health and safety week

Dubai: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has honoured 19 employees with awards as it commemorated health and safety week.

During the award ceremony, which was attended by senior officials, Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Dewa, said that in line with the vision of Dewa to become a sustainable institution on a global level, the highest standards and international best practices with respect to health and safety were applied by the utility as part of a strategy of Integrated Management Systems adopted by it for the consolidation of health and safety.
