Committee to combat trafficking holds meeting

Dubai: The UAE National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking held its 39th meeting under the chairmanship of Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and chairman of the committee.

The meeting discussed the activation and signing of memoranda of understanding between the UAE and other countries in the field of combating human trafficking. The committee also discussed developments pertaining to human rights, and among them was the Federal Law’s Decree No. 15 of 2017 concerning domestic workers, which was issued by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
