Bodies of two Emirati martyrs arrive in UAE
Special ceremony held to receive bodies of martyrs in presence of several senior officers
Abu Dhabi: The bodies of two Emirati martyrs Major Pilot Ali Saeed Saif Al Mesmari and First Lieutenant Pilot Bader Yahiya Mohammad Al Marashdeh have arrived in a UAE Air Force and Air Defence military aircraft at Al Bateen Executive Airport.
Senior military officers welcomed the martyrs’ bodies with a special ceremony at the airport on Wednesday.
Earlier, the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces announced the martyrdom of two Emirati soldiers after their plane crashed due to a technical failure in Yemen while carrying out their national duty as part of Operation Restoring Hope, being conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back Yemen’s legitimate government
