Abdullah meets French Defence Minister
Abdullah Bin Zayed also meets UN Special Envoy to Libya
Paris: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, on Tuesday met Jean-Yves Le Drian, French Defence Minister.
They discussed strategic coordination and cooperation between the UAE and France in various fields, and ways to further enhance coordination and cooperation for the benefit of the people, and security and stability in the region.
They also discussed a number of regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Shaikh Abdullah also met Bernandino Leon, UN Special Envoy to Libya.
They discussed recent political and security developments in Libya, and stressed the importance of supporting the Libyan government, as it is the legitimate government elected by the Libya’s House of Representatives, in order to help it achieve stability and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
