Girl dies in back of car from natural causes

Ras Al Khaimah: An Emirati woman is in shock after finding her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter dead on the back seat of her car on Tuesday afternoon.

The two had returned from Dubai when the mother left Shamma playing with her toy in the car as she quickly went into their house to pick something up.

When she returned, she found her motionless daughter.

The woman drove from southern Al Dhait to Saqr Hospital with her daughter laying on the back seat.

Physicians examined the child who was officially pronounced dead.

According to the hospital's medical report, the cause of death was a failure in blood circulation, which stopped the girl's heart and lungs.

Police have launched an investigation into the death of the girl who never had any history of disease.
