GEC, BP pledge support to environment show

The General Exhibition Corporation (GEC) and British Petroleum (BP) pledged their commitment to the Environment and Energy 2003 Exhibition and Conference, to be held from February 2-4 next year at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre.

"This official sponsorship to E&E is BP's ongoing commitment towards the environment and also to this excellent exhibition and conference," said Nigel Tibet, General Manager, BP Abu Dhabi.

A statement by GEC said that one of the main focal points of the exhibition is expected to be the 'Projects Village'.

The village will offer an in-depth insight into the environmental needs of the region and will also allow Government authorities from the Middle East and North Africa to display their achievements and future environmental projects.
