Fujairah Police, which plans to install a website, sent a delegation to review Dubai Police's e-services at Dubai Police Headquarters yesterday.
The delegation was received by Capt. Ahmad bin Subeih, Head of the Specialised Systems Section of the Planning and Development General Department.
It reviewed the Dubai Police Internet website and e-services provided through the network, along with the security levels on the site.
Capt. Subeih said its programmes were equipped with the most modern protection systems and firewalls.
He said the most recent e-service that has helped save time and effort for both the police and the public is the 'Chat with the Police' service.
Lt Khalid Mohammed Salem, from Fujairah Police, said the visit was aimed at learning about the most modern technologies used.
He said: "We need to know about these technologies as Fujairah Police is planning make a similar website and introduce e-services."
The delegation also reviewed Dubai Police's inter and intra-department communication via the Internet.
