Cinemagic is the new theatre in town with a beautiful interior done up in bright yellow, red and blue. What makes it special is that this little theatre is for children only and runs movies and cartoon shows for children everyday completely free of cost.

"We wanted to add something special and different to Fun City at the Oasis Centre that would be free of charge for children, just like one of our play areas," says Kaval Verma, marketing manager of the Landmark group.

The bright décor, the size of the screen, the lighting and sound system make the complete ambience of the hall appealing to children. "My younger sister likes this theatre and I come along with her and we watch the show together," says Mohammed, one of the children who has been inside Cinemagic. The videos for these films are sponsored by Disco 2000 and include films like Family Man, Baby Genius, Tom Sawyer and several others.

"The little cinema hall is open between 4.00pm and 9.00pm and is becoming increasingly popular," says Shyam Pillai, the operations manager at Fun City.

According to Vipin Bhandari, finance manager of Fun City, the formal launch of the refurbished Fun City with new attractions will be in September.
