First mass wedding in Dubai today

In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to minimise wedding expenses, Dubai municipality will conduct its first mass wedding today, it was announced yesterday.

Twelve municipal officials will tie the knot in a ceremony that will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality. The ceremony will be held at the Municipality Club in Gharhoud.
