Sharjah: A man died after falling from ta high-rise building in Al Majaz area in Sharjah on Monday morning.
Police here official told Gulf News on Wednesday that there was no apparent cause of the incident.
However, Sharjah Police confirmed the incident happened around 8.30am, which prompted emergency workers to respond to the scene.
Police did not elaborate.
“Police and ambulances rushed to the area after receiving reports about the incident," the police said.
As soon as the police was notified about the accident, a team from the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) was dispatched to the scene.
The body of man, a Filipino and identified by his initials F.R., was transferred to Al Kuwaiti Hospital where he pronounced dead, before the body was moved to the forensic laboratory.
Police station has launched investigation over the incident to establish weather its suicide bid or not.
The case was lodged with Al Buhairah Police station.
