The UAE Football Association Temporary Committee (FATC) has decided to suspend Al Nasr's Salah Abbas for seven games.
The decision is in addition to the suspension Abbas received during the Al Nasr-Al Wahda Super Cup encounter at the Al Maktoum stadium in Dubai on May 8.
The FATC's decision was taken at a meeting, chaired by Sultan Saqr Al Suwaidi, FATC chairman, on Saturday night.
The FATC has also decided to impose a fine of Dh7,000 on Abbas for kicking the ball at the referee, trying to attack the referee following a second yellow card which necessitated his sending off, refusing to comply with the referee's decision and climbing over the fence and brawling with supporters and the police.
The FATC has decided to impose a fine of Dh10,000 on Al Nasr club for failing to control their supporters when they threw missiles at the referee following the end of the first session and at the end of the match in addition to insulting him.
The Al Nasr supporters also laid siege to the referee's dressing room after the match. The FATC also ruled that the Al Nasr Club should bear the expenses towards the repair of the referee's car following damage done to it by the supporters.
The FATC watched the video recording of the match and approved the referee and match commissioner's reports. The committee rejected Al Nasr's protest which was based on the referee's alleged unfair decisions against their team.
The FATC stated that the protest had to be submitted in case of breach of tournament regulations and not against the referee's decisions.
The FATC held a meeting between referee Mohammed Omer and Al Nasr player Qazim Ali following his complaint to the police saying that the referee insulted him. The committee heard both officials in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Referee Omer refused to apologise to the player and Qazim said he would not withdraw his complaint pursuing it as a police case till justice was done.
