Abu Dhabi: Ballerinas of the Fantasia Ballet Centre are set to once again mesmerise the audience at their annual performance at the National Theatre on Wednesday.
The event is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development and is supported by Nahtam Social Responsibility.
"This year's theme is Global Friendship because we are working with guest students from the renowned Vadim Pisarev School of Choreographic Mastery; Vladimir Fomenko, Valeriy Popov, Stanislav Varankin and Roman Belgorodskyi.
They will arrive a few days before the show but we're all excited to be collaborating together, especially since this will be the first time they perform in the Middle East," Svetlana Al Neyadi, Ballet Master and Founder of Fantasia Ballet Centre, said.
"They will be performing a collaborative piece, ‘Mini Ballet in Nine Minutes' that will showcase techniques from both classical and modern ballet," she added.
The centre has also organised a two-day workshop that will be open for the public at the Abu Dhabi Country Club from February 7 - 8.
