Eppco gets ISO 9001:2000

Emirates Petroleum Products Co (Eppco) has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

Hussain Sultan, managing director of Eppco and group chief executive and board member of Enoc, the holding group, received the award from Anthony Muncer, manager for Middle East and Africa at Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

"This is part of our systematic approach towards achieving our business vision. Despite achieving these certificates we know that no business can afford to stand still," said Sultan.

In 1993, the company received the ISO 9002 certificate and in 1999 it got the ISO 14001 certificate for environmental management. Eppco operates more than 140 service stations.
