More rain, thunderstorms expected in the UAE over the weekend
Dubai: Isolated showers and thunderstorms could hit the coast and interior areas of Dubai and the northern emirates over the weekend, a duty forecaster at the Dubai Met Office said.
"Along the coast and inland, there is a risk of rain and thunderstorms mainly on Thursday evening and on the weekend. However, more thunderstorms are expected offshore to the north and north east on Thursday night and Friday morning," said Chris Worger, duty forecaster at Dubai Met Office.
Wind speed on Thursday night will be around 5 to 8 knots, with partly cloudy skies.
On Friday, the minimum temperature is expected to be 19 degrees Celsius with a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius.
