Ras Al Khaimah: A Chinese engineer fell to his death from a building under construction in Al Ghail Industrial area in Ras Al Khaimah.
The incident took place on Saturday morning at around 10am and the man succumbed to his injuries the same evening.
Police investigations revealed that the man was on duty at the time he plunged from the seventh floor.
The engineer, in his 40s, was admitted to Al Dhaid hospital in a crtical condition with serious head injuries and fractures in different part of the body.
The body has been moved to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
The police have summoned witnesses for questioning.
