Mohammed Mangodi, who bought his three postcard packs at Dibba Al Hisn post office, had a plan and it paid off. Mangodi, holder of ticket number 1701378, won Dh10,000.
"I will use the money to lay the foundation of a house for my family in Kerala," Mangodi said.
Kallingal Mohamed Kutty, another Northern Emirates resident and holder of ticket number 2817972, also won Dh10,000.
Salem Al Shaya, acting director-general of Emirates Post, gave the two winners cheques at a ceremony held at their head office in Dubai yesterday.
All numbers of the postcard packs available in the market are automatically entered into every draw. Thus, postcard packs purchased even after the draw can have a winning number.
Of the 11 prizes that were announced at the June 30 draw, nine have yet to be claimed. Seven more Postcard Millionaire draws are scheduled.
