Emirates Post is running a four-week promotion on three FM stations of the Channel 4 network, offering listeners a chance to win three cash prizes of Dh500 each.

The promotion is designed to inform people about Emirates Post's new services. The radio stations are 89.1 Hindi FM, 104.8 FM in English and Al Arabia 107.8 FM in Arabic.

The campaign features questions on different topics each week. The first week featured questions on Emirates Post in general, followed by questions on International Express, the co-branded courier product of Emirates Post and DHL, the Public P.O. Box facility and the parcel service.

Salem Al Shaya, Deputy Director General, Emirates Post said it has been introducing new services and products in an endeavour to be an innovation-driven, consumer-focused corporation.

"We would like more people to discover the different aspects of our services and the advantages they offer. This radio campaign is aimed at achieving the objective, while at the same time giving people a chance to win cash prizes by answering a simple question."

The promotion consists of questions asked on each of the radio stations at different times of the day. Listeners are required to fax the answers to the radio station.

The weekly winners are announced on Wednesday evenings. Listeners who have won weekly prizes have praised the promotion for its educative value.

"The prize came as a surprise," said Mark Daly, one of the winners. "As I am a regular customer of Emirates Post, I had no difficulty answering the simple question. I think the promotion is great, and for the first time I got to learn about several new Emirates Post services."

The last week of the promotion, from May 10 to 14, will feature questions on Emirates Post parcel service which offers people a chance to send assorted items to their friends and relatives at attractive prices.
