Ras Al Khaimah: The National Guard’s National Search and Rescue Center, in coordination with Ras Al Khaimah Police, successfully conducted a medical evacuation of an injured climber from a mountainous area.
The National Guard’s centre responded to the emergency call, located the climber, and airlifted him to Al Qasimi Hospital for treatment.
In a joint statement, the National Guard and Ras Al Khaimah Police urged those visiting mountainous areas to follow safety guidelines and take precautions.
They also advised using the 995 emergency hotline for urgent assistance.
