Sharjah: An unexpected ‘visitor’ resulted in the Civil Defence arriving at an Emirati’s house at night.

The Kalba Civil Defence team was dispatched to an Emirati citizen’s house after their children reported a snake in the kitchen.

The operations room received a report at 8.54pm on Wednesday about a snake spotted in a house in Al Saaf area of Kalba.

The children had found a long snake inside the kitchen when they were alone at home.

The Civil Defence team used special tools and caught the snake.

An official at the Sharjah Civil Defence said that their teams are well trained and respond to all types of emergency situations to ensure the safety of citizens and residents in the country.
