Sharjah: Two Emirati brothers lost their lives in a horrific accident on Sharjah’s Al Madam Road on Tuesday night, Sharjah Police confirmed.

Police said the brothers died after their motorcycle flipped over in the Fili area in Al Madam after the driver lost control because he was driving too fast.

The two brothers were riding on one motorcycle when the driver lost control. The older brother, 24, and his sibling, 14, died on the spot.

The police operation room received a call reporting the incident. Police patrol and the national ambulance moved to the site and moved the body of the deceased to Al Dhaid Hospital around 8pm.

Police in the UAE are once again urging motorists to avoid speeding and wearing proper safety gear
