Swift response by Sharjah Civil Defense contained industrial warehouse fire

Sharjah – Sharjah Civil Defense teams swiftly brought a warehouse fire under control on Sunday afternoon, preventing what could have been a much larger incident in Industrial Area 15. No injuries were reported.

The blaze broke out in a storage facility housing refrigerated units used for fruits and vegetables. Authorities received the emergency call at 1:27 PM, prompting the immediate dispatch of firefighting units from nearby stations.

Upon arrival, teams worked quickly and efficiently to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring structures.

According to the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, the operation was executed with a high level of professionalism and coordination. All safety protocols were followed to secure the area and mitigate further risk.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
