Fire contained at under-construction building in Al Habtoor City in Dubai
No injuries reported in the fire that occurred in a warehouse storing building materials
Dubai: Dubai Civil Defence swiftly responded to a fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon at a construction site in Al Habtoor City.
The operations room received the alert at 1:47pm, prompting an immediate dispatch of a firefighting team from the Al Quoz Fire Station.
Firefighters arrived on the scene within six minutes, at 1:53pm, where they discovered a fire in a warehouse storing building materials. The warehouse was part of a structure still under construction.
The blaze was described as moderate in size and was brought under full control by 2:46pm No injuries were reported.
At 3:01pm, a field commander confirmed that the fire had entered the cooling phase. The site was set to be handed over to the relevant authorities upon the completion of cooling operations.
