Fire breaks out in Sharjah Industrial Area warehouses

Sharjah: A fire erupted in eight warehouses in Sharjah’s Industrial Area 18 on Friday evening. No injuries were reported, according to Sharjah Civil Defence.

Sharjah Civil Defence reported receiving a fire alert at 3:16 pm about a blaze in eight warehouses in Industrial Area 18. Firefighting teams promptly responded, working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby facilities.

The warehouses stored shoes and clothing, one housed paintings, while the contents of three others remain unknown.

Workers from the affected and surrounding areas were safely evacuated as a precaution. Cooling operations are ongoing to fully secure and stabilize the site.
