You are set on a very important mission: choosing the right school for your child. The process can be overwhelming as there are many International Baccalaureate World schools in Switzerland and a plethora in other countries.

So, what sets Le Régent College apart?

Our warmth and empathy; readiness to give time, attention and caring support to each and every student; the incredible mountain setting and safe heaven we live in; and the genuine family atmosphere we provide.

Our teachers, tutors, house parents and boarding teams are not only extremely able people, but they live and breathe our four core values of Courtesy, Compassion, Creativity, and Courage.

We have put in place a support network that makes a huge difference in the life of our students. Class sizes are small and teachers engage their students continuously; each student is assigned a tutor (Year 12 and 13 students can choose); non-native English speakers are supported by specialist teachers; special needs are met with diligence; students are carefully guided in their choice of IGCSE, IB subjects and universities.

All teachers are highly qualified, the academics are challenging and academic support is always available; the resources (libraries, art facilities, sports hall, ski slopes, golf course, etc.) made available to students are first-rate; creativity is at the heart of our philosophy and students enjoy being in an environment where trying new things and taking risks are encouraged; each boarding house has dedicated house parents whose sole focus is to create a nurturing environment so that boarders feel at home and can grow in confidence and self-esteem.

Last but not least, we are the only international school in Switzerland offering the John Muir Award, an educational initiative of the John Muir Trust that aims to encourage people of all backgrounds to connect with, enjoy and care for wild places.
