Abu Dhabi: The Emirates School Establishment (ESE) has announced that the traditional Emirati Kandura is optional for male students in 5-12 grades from next week.

However, the traditional male dress will be mandatory for male students from the next school year 2023-2024 in line with the results of a survey in which the opinion of parents was gauged.
