Top institute sets up office in Dubai
Dubai: The University of New Brunswick (UNB), a leading Canadian institution, became the 14th academic organisation to set up offices in Dubai's Knowledge Village (KV).
KV currently houses 14 top-ranked institutions and accommodates 6,500 students of different nationalities coming from around 60 countries, said Dr Abdullah Al Karam, Chief Executive of KV.
KV has linked up with UNB that will start enrolling students next September, Dr Al Karam told a media gathering yesterday. UNB became the first Canadian institution to launch a campus in KV, 'the move which we hope to spark other Canadian universities' interest to do the same', he said.
