Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, issued three resolutions restructuring and appointing members to the boards of three educational bodies.
The first resolution appointed Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili as deputy chairman of the board of Paris-Sorbonne University-Abu Dhabi. Shaikh Mohammad appointed Dr Zaki Anwar Nusaiba and Dr Masoud Abdullah Badri as members of the board.
According to the second resolution, the board of directors of the Abu Dhabi Vocational Educational and Training Institute has been restructured, and will be chaired by Engineer Hussain Ebrahim Mohammad Al Hammadi, while Dr Abdullah Nasser Al Suwaidi will be the deputy chairman. Board members will include Dr Thani Ahmad Thani Al Muhairi, Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Dr Mohammad Ebrahim Al Mualla, Dr Ali Obaid Abdul Majid Al Ali, Dr Yousuf Ebrahim Al Akraf Al Suwaidi, Dr Saif Sultan Al Nasiri and Faris Obaid Salem Obaid Al Daheri.
Shaikh Mohammad also issued a third resolution restructuring the board of trustees of the Emirates College for Advanced Education to be chaired by Dr Aref Sultan Al Hammadi, while Dr Abdul Latif Mohammad Al Shami will serve as the deputy chairman. Members will include Salem Saleh Al Su’airi, Dr Karima Mattar Rashid Al Mazroui, Dr Caitlin O’ Connell, and Dr Vincent Endino.
The boards will serve for a renewable tenure of three years.
