Reading Festival offers slew of events
Seventh edition will take place from April 22 to May 2 at Expo Centre Sharjah
Sharjah: The seventh edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival 2015 is set to bring together a total of 2,028 cultural, educational, entertainment, art and health events from April 22 to May 2 at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
Themed ‘Discover My City’, the festival will include the participation of 109 publishing houses from 15 countries.
For the first time, the festival will include an exhibition on dinosaurs that will be organised in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in the United Kingdom.
The exhibition will feature models and information about dinosaurs presented scientifically to attract both children and adults.
The fourth edition of the Sharjah Exhibition for Children Book’s Illustrations will take place on the festival’s sidelines with the participation of 385 artworks created by 134 illustrators from 31 Arab and other countries.
