Name change for Dubai School of Government

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai’s Executive Council, on Sunday ordered changing the name of Dubai School of Government to Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG).

“For a long time, the art of government administration and excellence and producing leaders in the field of governmental work has been closely linked with His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,” said Shaikh Hamdan.

“The efforts of Shaikh Mohammad in government leadership have paid off, with the UAE recently being ranked first globally in government efficiency. Shaikh Mohammad has also ordered carrying out an unprecedented initiative by launching the Smart Government initiative.”

“In addition, Shaikh Mohammad consolidated a new method in government administration, and we are proud that this educational institution, which will be named after him, will spread this intellectual mindset and further consolidate it not just on the local stage but also in the Arab world and globally,” said Shaikh Hamdan.

Shaikh Hamdan said that the UAE has become a destination for many governmental delegations from various countries who visit the UAE to benefit from its expertise in governmental administration and excellence and transfer the same to their respective countries.

“The delegations also benefit from our expertise in developing government efficiency and performance. Our excellence in all those fields are thanks to Shaikh Mohammad, who consolidated a distinguished method for government administration, which further reaffirms the efficiency of his unique leadership approach,” added Shaikh Hamdan.

He said that MBRSG will soon become a key source for developing governmental work, not just in the UAE, but also the region and many other countries around the world.

“A number of countries are currently holding negotiations with MBRSG to develop governmental leaders in the field of public administration. In the near future, MBRSG will launch many programmes that will further consolidate its position among the best public administration institutions,” said Shaikh Hamdan.
