Dubai Culture sets up library to encourage children to read at a young age
Dubai: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has established a library at the Family Village for the benefit of orphaned children. The move comes following directives from Shaikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-Chairman of Dubai Culture, during her recent visit to Family Village. The new library aims to inspire the children and encourage them to start reading from a young age.
The library is designed to support children’s education by providing them access to the best works in children’s literature. It provides a wide selection of 350 Arabic language books for over 30 children at the Family Village.
