Edufair is open until 7pm at Millennium Downtown in Abu Dhabi
Following a strong start yesterday with hundreds of families and over 1,000 high school students in attendance, Edufair Abu Dhabi is set to conclude its two-day run with a full schedule of activities.
The event is open until 7pm at Millennium Downtown in Abu Dhabi.
Gulf News Edufair continues today with a mix of exhibitions, expert-led presentations, panel discussions, and a fireside chat focused on higher education and global study opportunities.
Edufair Abu Dhabi is free to attend and features more than 20 universities and career service providers from the UAE and abroad. The event is an extension of the long-running Edufair Dubai, Gulf News’ flagship higher education event, which is now in its eighth year. Edufair Dubai concluded earlier this month after drawing more than 9,000 visitors.
At the Abu Dhabi edition, attendees have the opportunity to meet directly with admissions teams from top institutions. Representatives are on hand to answer detailed questions about academic programmes, admission criteria, tuition fees, scholarship options, and international study pathways.
For students and parents considering higher education either in the UAE or overseas, Edufair offers practical, accessible information to support decision-making.
Today's schedule includes a focused presentation on gaining admission to top medical and engineering colleges in India. Ameen K, Head of Operations, Unique World Education, will share insights into preparing for India’s highly competitive entrance examinations, NEET and JEE, and outline pathways to access high-quality and affordable education options.
The session will provide attendees with strategies that have helped many students successfully secure placements in prestigious Indian institutions.
A key panel discussion will explore the role of entrepreneurial education in today’s curriculum. The session will examine how schools and universities can equip students with the mindset and skills needed to take initiative and act on ideas, whether in a business setting or within larger organisations.
Educators on the panel will discuss the importance of fostering ownership, creativity, and execution ability as part of a broader educational strategy.
Another highlight of the day is a fireside chat with Clint Khan, director at Y-Axis and an expert in international education and immigration. Khan will address the expanding landscape of study and post-study opportunities in Germany, with particular focus on the country’s new Opportunity Card.
This new initiative is designed to attract skilled international talent by streamlining access to job and residency pathways. Khan will explain how students can position themselves to benefit from these changes, and what it means for long-term career planning in Europe.
