Thirty art and design students from Zayed University showcased their graduation projects at the Dubai Media City last week. The work of the graduating students covered interior design, graphic design and animation.
Some of the projects on display for interior design students included designs for labour camps, mosques, homes and family accommodations.
Graphic design students had to work on creating corporate identities for products and businesses. Some of the projects included the creation of designs for a Arabian fragrance gift shops, the Dubai Zoo, sweet shops and jewellery re-branding.
Students had 20 weeks to work on their projects. "The exhibition also included other works done by the students besides their graduation projects. Many presented paintings and work done with mixed media. It was basically a show of talent,' said Omid Rouhani, interior design faculty member.
