Experts to discuss issues on global higher education at conference
Moderators and panelists expected from around the world
Abu Dhabi: Academic leaders from around the world will convene in Abu Dhabi to explore the challenges and opportunities for global higher education at a conference on Higher Education in the Global Age, hosted by the NYU Abu Dhabi Institute.
The two-day event will be held at the Al Mamoura Auditorium in Abu Dhabi, four panels will address different aspects of the topic: the role of universities in fostering intercultural understanding; the need to accommodate surging populations in emerging educational markets; the evolution of universities as interconnected global institutions; and universities as engines of sustainable development.
Among the moderators and panelists will be leaders in higher education from around the world.
