Electronic college honours first graduates
Dubai: The first 25 graduates of the E-TQM College were honoured in a ceremony yesterday.
“This is a unique event — the very first graduation ceremony in the first electronic college in the Arab world,'' said Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai Police and President of the College.
He said the college had reengineered educational methods by merging knowledge with technological advances.
“Today my fellow graduates and I harvest the fruit of the hard work and long hours for the past two years,'' said one student.
“We would not be where we are today had it not been for the foresight of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,'' said Huda Abdullah Bou Humaid, who delivered the valedictorian message.
