Starting 2026, the Class 10 board exams will be conducted twice a year:
Phase 1: February (compulsory for all students)
Phase 2: May (optional — to improve scores in up to three subjects: Science, Math, Social Science, and Languages)
This change aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students from winter-bound schools may choose to appear in either phase. However, internal assessments will be conducted only once per academic year.
Results for both phases will be declared in April and June 2026, respectively.
