Dubawi can continue the fine form of Godolphin's two-year-old team by taking today's Listed Chesham Stakes.

For the first time since he took up a trainer's licence for Godolphin in 1995 Saeed bin Suroor has a quality group of juveniles in his care.

And one that has attracted more attention than most is Dubawi, notable as the first of the great Dubai Millennium's offspring to win a race.

In what looked a competitive maiden at Goodwood two weeks ago, Dubawi came home in style. A victory at Royal Ascot will further boost the brave plan of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence, to house all his horses under one roof.

Success of well-bred horses like Dubawi are crucial to Godolphin's new juvenile strategy, where over 100 two-year-olds are already in training with Suroor at Newmarket.

Godolphin are hoping the son of Dubai Millennium, Godolphin's greatest champion, will go on to better things even at this early stage in his development, by taking the Chesham.
