Dubai : Dubai Taxi Corporation at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) set about application of Change Management Methodology on a par with other RTA agencies and sectors.

“Change Management methodology is a crucial tool for upgrading the performance level of employees as well as the procedural conduct of the business that serves the objectives of Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) through implementing modern strategies & methods applicable in this field worldwide'' said Ahmed Mohammed Al Hamadi, Director of Resources & Support at DTC.

“Change Management methodology has a considerable impact on all work sectors that can leverage a change in the strategic path, Organization Chart, employees and processes of DTC.

We have unleashed this process to bring about a positive change in the departments and sections of DTC, motivate drivers and other employees to adopt successful work programs, and gain the support required to sustain this success, thus serve the strategic objectives & goals of DTC and the RTA'' added Al Hamadi.

“To implement Change Management Methodology properly, the concerned bodies at DTC have worked out an ambitious plan to realize this objective through holding workshops in three phases; the first of which was held at the end of last month.

Training Methodology is also bound to have a positive impact on the periodical evaluation carried out under Dubai Government Excellence Program.

“Change is part and parcel of the daily lives of communities and has multiple positive effects on all social, economic, service and educational levels as well as other vital aspects; which all lay the foundation of any small or large community.

“There are several factors that push authorities, businesses and organizations to adopt Change Management Methodology such as the need to keep pace with the global trends, work out solutions to all problems, and boost the functional efficiency of all work teams; which will definitely and ultimately impact the level of services to be delivered to customers and strategic partners of the RTA.

“Change Management Methodology is also introduced in response to the aspiration of RTA employees, particularly those making tireless efforts to groom themselves to assume senior positions.

Workshops to be held will be a perfect opportunity to come forward with new ideas capable of making a change in the applicable work procedures towards achieving and enhancing the drive of excellence'' concluded Al Hamadi.
