Dubai: All offices of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) will open from 9am to 6pm during Ramadan and only two branches will have a night shift, from 10pm to midnight.
To offer best services to the public, the GDRFA-Dubai head offices in Jafiliya and its external centres will open from 9am to 6pm, with employees working in alternating shifts, the department announced on Friday.
Major-General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, director-general of the GDRFA-Dubai, said that the directorate will receive all kinds of applications from the public at the head offices in Al Jafiliya and also at the external centres during these hours from Sunday to Thursday.
He added that the external centres in Al Twar and Al Manara will receive all applications from the public from 9am to 6pm and also from 10pm to midnight.
Meanwhile, there will be no change in the working hours of the airport external centre at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. It is open 24 hours, seven days a week and will receive all types of applications, with priority given to urgent applications.
