Dubai: Dubai Police have busted a yacht party and issued a Dh50,000 fine for people flouting the COVID-19 precautionary measures.

According to a Dubai Media Office tweet on Sunday, Dubai Police, in cooperation with Dubai Tourism, caught several people who organised a private yacht party without following COVID-19 precautionary guidelines related to keeping social distance and wearing masks.

The licence of the yacht operator was suspended for a month.
