Nakheel's Dragon Mart is hosting a special month of festivities including live dance performances, traditional craft activities and stalls throughout the mall from this week until the 19 February in celebration of Chinese New Year that begins on 29 January.
During the celebration, shoppers can take part in Chinese sugar blowing, mask painting, calligraphy and kite painting, as well as sampling traditional Chinese snacks from stalls situated at the BB zone. From 29 January – 1 February, visitors can enjoy live performances of traditional Chinese Dragon and Lion dances and Kung Fu, throughout the mall from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
Operated by Nakheel Retail and built in the shape of a giant dragon, the 1.2km long complex is the largest commercial centre for Chinese products outside the Chinese mainland. The Chinese-themed complex currently offers more than 3,900 retail outlets within 187,000 square metres of retail and commercial space.
