Information on falconry and the equestrian world is now only a click away with the launch of the Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition's bilingual website.

"The launch of the website is in line with our policy to offer quality services to exhibitors and visitors," said Mohammad Khalaf Al Mazroui, Chairman of the exhibition's organising committee and member of the board of directors of the Emirates Falconers Club.

"The website is vital for enabling exhibitors, companies and lovers of hunting and equestrian sports to maintain contact and follow the developments of the event," Al Mazroui said.

The Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) 2005, which starts on September 12, will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Emirate Falconers Club.

"There were many sites in the world wide web featuring falconry and the equestrian world. However, there are hardly any sites which offer services in English and Arabic," Al Mazroui said.

English language, he noted, dominates 85 per cent of the websites followed by German, Japanese, French and Spanish.

The launch of the Adihex website will cater for the needs of a broad section of falconers around the globe, particularly in the gcc region.
