Dodsal wins DEL contract

Dolphin Energy (DEL) has awarded the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning contract for the AI Ain-to-Fujairah gas pipeline to Dodsal Ltd.

The Dh202 million contract is scheduled for completion within 15 months. The project comprises of a 24-inch diameter, 180-kilometre pipeline from AI Ain to Qidfa in Fujairah.

The pipeline will provide up to 360 million cubic feet a day of natural gas to service the forthcoming 656MW power generation plant - and the associated 100 million gallons a day water desalination project – of the Union Water and Electricity Co(Uwec).
