Show hosts Richard and Bouchra explain how residents can submit their wishes
Abu Dhabi: ‘Dear Big Ticket’ Season 3 is the latest instalment of a heartwarming initiative by Big Ticket Abu Dhabi, through which six lucky winners will receive Dh100,000 each to help turn their dreams into reality.
Popular show hosts Richard and Bouchra gave a step-by-step guide on how UAE residents can submit their heartfelt wishes for free.
“First, head over to the official website: www.bigticket.ae. You’ll see a ‘Dear Big Ticket’ banner – click on it, and it will take you straight to the ‘Dear Big Ticket’ page” Richard said.
Over the past two editions, the ‘Dear Big Ticket’ initiative has fulfilled a range of resident wishes, from medical treatments to family reunions.
This season, wishes can be submitted under five categories: health and wellbeing, education, housing and accommodation, business and entrepreneurship, and family reunion.
UAE residents aged 18 or above can submit their wishes until July 17.
“Log in with your Big Ticket account by entering your registered email and password, then click the login button,” Bouchra explained.
“If you don't have an account, click ‘Create an Account’. Once registered, go to the address bar and type: www.dearbigticket.ae.”
Once logged in, scroll down to find the wish submission form. Select the emirate you live in and then choose the category of your wish.
“Now tell ‘Dear Big Ticket’ your story in 1,000 words or less. Want to send a video instead? Just make sure it’s under 10 MB in size and less than 1 minute in duration,” Richard said. “Before submitting, make sure to check the ‘terms and conditions’, and ‘privacy policy’,” he underlined.
Every week, five wishes will be shortlisted. In total, 15 wishes will be shortlisted during the campaign. From August 4 to 24, the public can vote for the wishes they believe should be granted. Each voter will also be entered into a weekly draw as well.
Finally, six lucky winners will have their wishes granted. Each will receive Dh100,000.
Winners will be announced between September 1 and 15.
“Wishing you all the best. We can't wait to hear from you,” the show hosts said.
