Big Ticket Abu Dhabi brings back ‘Dear Big Ticket’, free chance to make wishes real

Abu Dhabi: Big Ticket Abu Dhabi has announced the return of its heartwarming initiative, Dear Big Ticket. Now in its third season, the series runs from July to September and invites the public to share their most meaningful wishes for a chance to see them come true. This year, wishes can be submitted across five key categories: health and wellbeing, education, housing and accommodation, business and entrepreneurship, and family reunion.

Dear Big Ticket is a platform for real stories and real dreams. Since its launch in 2018, it has helped make lifelong wishes come true — from life-changing medical treatments and educational opportunities to once-in-a-lifetime family reunions.

What sets Dear Big Ticket apart is that participation is completely free. There is no need to purchase a Big Ticket. Anyone can simply log in with an existing account or create one on the Big Ticket website to submit their wish.

Bogdan Lefter, Head of Marketing at Big Ticket Abu Dhabi, said the third season continues a campaign that has brought hope and joy to countless people since 2018.

“It’s our way of giving back to the community that moves us, supports us, and inspires us every single day. Every wish we receive carries a deeply personal story, and being part of turning those stories into reality is something we hold close to our hearts.”
He noted that the initiative is about more than just prizes – it’s about connection and community.

“We can’t wait to hear the stories and wishes that will come through this year, they are the perfect reminder why we do what we do,” he added.

From July 7 to July 27, UAE residents aged 18 or older can submit their wishes at www.bigticket.ae. Entries can be submitted as a written story (up to 1,000 characters) or as a 1-minute video.

Every week, five inspiring wishes will be shortlisted. These will be turned into short videos and shared on bigticket.ae and Asianet TV, where the public can vote for their favorites.

From August 4 to August 24, public voting will determine which dreams come true. Every voter will also be entered into a weekly draw to win one of five Big Tickets.

Each week, two of the five shortlisted wishes with the most votes will receive Dh100,000 to help make their dream a reality. Winners will be announced between September 1 and 15.

The remaining nine shortlisted entries will each receive Dh10,000 as a gesture of encouragement and support.

Wish submission period: July 7 to 27,
Voting period: August 4 to 24,
Winner announcements: September 1 to 15.
