They come in all shapes, sizes and colours and can be adapted to any interior. What's more, cushions today are not just accessories to go with your furniture - they are an integral part of your home decor

There is nothing quite like the feeling of sinking on to a couch and settling among the moving, soft bodies of cushions. Maybe even pick one of them and hug them as you put your feet up and switch on your favourite programme on TV. A soft furnishing that brings comfort to any sitting arrangement, cushions also add glamour to a room and can be used on chairs, sofas, beds, even on floor furnishing.

What is most exciting about opting for cushions as decor objects is that they come in all shapes and sizes.

Of course, a cushion is only as exciting or sober as its cover. Depending on the fabric and design used as cover, a cushion can be pretty plain, simply fabulous or just cuddly wuddly. From, chintz, silk, muslin, cotton to velvet and canvas, cushions can be adorned as you would want them to look. Some cushions are purely for decorative purposes, you wouldn't want to hug them. Others are eminently huggable, as well as good lookers. Then there are the trimmings, in gold tassels, lace and braids.
