30 members of the banned cell get 3 months to 5 years in jail for variety of charges
Abu Dhabi: The UAE State Security Court on Tuesday sentenced the 30 members of the Egyptian-Emirati Muslim Brotherhood cell from three months to five years in jail for six charges.
The verdict also applied to the six Egyptians that fled the country, who were tried in absentia.
The judge ordered to disband the organisation, shut down all offices across the country, and seize all its assets.
The 14 Egyptians convicted in the case will be deported after serving their sentence.
