Ras Al Khaimah: An Asian teacher who molested a five-year-old girl during a private lesson to memorise the Quran has been sentenced to 15 years in jail. He will later be deported.
The case dates back to earlier this year when the girls’ parents arranged for their daughter to have tuition along with other pupils.
The Asian girl told her parents the teacher molested her after the other pupils left.
The verdict was announced at RAK Criminal Court on Wednesday by Presiding judge Yousuf Rajab.
